Some of my students' feedbacks  on courses in reiki are put as below. I hope it answers some of your questions too in the process.
 
A success story of Andrea Evans from Cardiff, her journey as she discovered Reiki and now is a Reiki Master. If she can come out of the state she was, anyone can!
 
Hi Robin, I wanted to now write and let you know how wonderful I found you and what Reiki did for me. Let me start by saying for anyone who has had the stuffing knocked out of them and simply lost the will to live. At the time  I lost my mother very suddenly to cancer and also had a very painful divorce. and sadly realised I was in a controlling marriage, I was on the verge of losing my home at this time. I started to get very depressed and dare I say is suicidal. I had tried lots of things counselling, hypnotherapy anti depressants they work for a short time but things kept coming back panic attacks which I never experienced before were very frightening. I was recommended by a girlfriend to try reiki I had never heard of it but she said it would help me relax and sleep and maybe I could deal with things a lot better. Well I tried it, the first session was relaxing I found just for a short time I could switch off. after two sessions a week things greatly improved and I found myself thinking how wonderful it would be to learn something like this and then I could help myself. Sadly I couldn't afford to keep going as I was struggle with my home and bills so I had to stop. As time went on my X husband was still around back and fore and playing games I still had not come to terms with my mother death, so out of the blue one day I was on line looking for a course to get me out of the house and to try something new and what do you know Robin Reiki came up and the course was for Cardiff I couldn't believe it I thought this is great I will learn to help myself so I rang straight away and Robin rang me straight back and I booked the course. Level1 was very emotional for me and very upsetting Robin was tremendous and very supportive I felt it was the first time I really could open up and I felt safe to do so. I worked a lot on myself after the course and really worked I wanted to get better and would do anything, I was ringing Robin anytime I needed her and she was always there for me. I new Robin was coming back to Cardiff for Leve2 I wanted to do this but I didn't have the money but you get what you need. So my son who was so impressed how well I was getting that he and his girlfriend paid for the second course I was delighted to say the least. I rang Robin and she came to cardiff she did Level 2 for me one to one how lucky I was to have this but I really needed that special attention as there was very deep emotional hurts and maybe in a class I might have not been able to go that deep Robin made me feel very relaxed to do this. I was lucky to have this as the other lady wasn't ready Robin said that she was meant to do this. I learnt a lot and she encourage me my confidence came back and I so wanted to help myself. And look how far I had come and if Reiki can do this for me imagine if you have faith what it can do for you!!! I started straight away with the encouragement for Robin I started working from Home with great results and wonderful clients who I was able to help and who help them selves. I did My Masters level with Robin who I believe was God sent for me and now things have much improved in my life and I am now able to give back and. I would recommend Robin very much and I also attended the Psychic Intuition Initiation Course in Cardiff that too was lovely. I am sending my Love to Robin for becoming a good friend and support and I wish her every success in the future.

Email sent after the course by Angela after the course that Angela is happy to share: I really think the course was an amazing experience!  I had a totally open mind about what would happen so like you told us I just went along with the flow. I cannot believe the amount of knowledge you got to offer and I am well going for Reiki 2 whenever you come to Cardiff again. Even if it takes up to 1 year.

Oh wow Robin! The attunement was a fantastic experience, how can I ever describe it in words? I had an amazing vision, heaven really, a door being open. Through that door came out a row of light beings that surrounded us in a circle. They were full of light and were so peaceful! I feel I am well loved and cared for!
 
Now I am doing my chakras everyday. It is very interesting because each position is opening my senses more and more. For example as I place my hands on eyes I am seeing life beyond what eyes can see, as I place my hands in the ears I am hearing and noticing what I am not hearing, as I place my hands on my throat a deeper understanding what I am saying from the heart and so on... a bigger picture and understanding of life is being showed to me!
 
I also bought a pendulum, I was so impressed with it over the weekend and I will also use it to ask questions to my Spirit. In general I feel that my spiritually is now being fulfilled, thank you Robin for becoming a part of it!
 
I will keep praying to my guardian Angel and my Spirit as now I fully trust on them.

I applied for a place on the course for professional reasons, as I work in a young persons's health and wellbeing service bit this course and learning about Reiki has changed personal life too.

I am seeing things in a new way and this has enhanced my own health & wellbeing and has taken me onto a new level of spiritual awareness. My friends have remarked about the "change in me" and although I know I have a long way to go on my journey, I feel I am on the right road.

I very much look forward to taking part in the level II course.

Robin is an incredibly gifted and powerful yet gentle healer.

I was in San Diego this February experiencing deep stress and anxiety due to the resurfacing of some painful self limiting beliefs and patterns as I approached a meeting with my dream company to work for.

Quite remarkably about 30 minutes before the meeting, a feeling of peace and settlement started permeating my body and my spirit. I felt myself healing and balancing and becoming centred. I felt beautiful and peaceful and joyful and was so full of gratitude and wonder at this instantenous healing.

Later, I discovered that exactly that time, Robin had been sending me distance Reiki to help me because she knew I was having trouble settling.

I felt her all the way in California.

She e-mailed me and said my third chakra had felt knotted and she was abosultely right because the painful memories and self limiting patterns/beleifs were all third charkra related, but I hadn't told her that.

I have been taught by Robin too. And I consider her a blessing in my life and in this world. She's amazing. Thank you Robin.

My experience during the Reiki Course was a journey through my inner self. It was a journey of grace and enlightment. I managed to communicate with myself in a deeper level that opened up a new connection for me with my spirit. The reiki techniques are very helpful in letting me communicate with my spirit world and stay away from ego. This course made it clear to me that the world is there to be enjoyed in goodness.
